I actually find it personally helpful to take stock at the end of each week, which is how this wrap-up started. Breaking news rarely has all the details - it’s only by looking back you catch the full unfolding stories and can see how they link together. Glad you like it!
What an incredible way to start the day! This is everything: “Peace doesn’t come from pretending nothing is changing, but from anchoring in what cannot be taken away.”
True freedom! Thank you so much for sharing your soul.
Ahhh, Wiz!!! Thank you so much. I echo elsewhere… I started with you cuz I loved the news analysis and depth… have come to love the astrological stuff cuz it sings to my soul… (not that I understand any of it!) Today what got me was the discussion of the monks, especially this: “Because there’s a difference between shouting for peace and actually being peace. Peace isn’t something you can force into existence. You can’t argue your way there by trying to beat the world into calm. For peace to exist, it has to be embodied…..another way to be human.” Oh, how I wish I’d known this in my 20’s,—but later is better than never! Blessings to you this week! ❤️ and as always….Thank you.
Oh the monks! Every time I see a picture of them I just want to weep, because they just completely embody peacefulness. It’s so stark, in a world that has become all about convincing and cajoling and protesting and picketing - they’re just they’re, walking, peacefully, holding the frequency of peace, not as a demonstration so much as just a complete embodiment. And the world just doesn’t know what to do with it - it’s such an oddity in this noisy world. I just love everything about it. I want to join them in their walk! I guess each of us, in our own way, can join them by also embodying such peace. xx
I found myself taking a much needed deep cleansing breath to this paragraph:
“This is the balance we’re being invited back into now - not mind versus heart, but mind powered by heart. Thought guided by feeling. Intelligence guided by wisdom. Action guided by resonance.”
That was the center of what I was trying to convey - glad you caught it. It’s not mind OR heart, but mind informed by the heart. One drives, the other is driven. It’s the way we navigate what comes next. xx
It’s a cool Substack feature, it reads it all out to you. Personally, I find the voice and the pace a bit monotone, but I guess if you’re doing the cleaning or the gardening and want something to listen to, this works!
You know, it’s my jam to read you… it’s my Sunday thing…. My tea and your writing in the morning and afternoon tea on the week ahead. But it is kinda cool, although I’m not much for that so voice….
I love that - this writing goes down well with tea and snacks hehe. One day I will get around to recording these myself and putting them into a podcast, but for now, that little play button on Substack will have to do!
By chance is there the ability to listen to the audio for this? The play button that usually appears in the right hand corner is missing on this article
I did and I restarted my phone, still not there. This is on Android phone. All previous articles have the play button. Perhaps just taking longer than usual. I will wait a while longer. Thank you for the response.
What a mystery. I can see it when I click on it. Perhaps Substack is playing up? I keep toying with the idea of starting a podcast where I read these weekly wrap-ups myself, that would solve the problem. Just have to find the time....and a microphone....
You write the most comprehensive coverage of world news available. Thank you.

That is the key to getting through this moment. Plant your feet in what is permanent. 🥰

Such a pleasure, thank-you as always for reading. xx
This was a masterpiece 👏 ✨️ for those who have been following your message. You have prepared us well for this time to arrive. Love you Wiz.
Love you right back, Cecelia, with all the light I can muster. xx

I think it takes a few hours for the audio to appear - it seems to be there now. Try again?
