How your mind works totally fascinates me - followed by the magic of your words. Today's post so resonates with me. I know I must wait for all the new voices to rise, while at the same time I am listening for the songs. Thank you.

Thank you for this. It filled me with hope. Unlike the election results in my home country - the UK.

A message I’ve been getting in meditation for almost a year is to not be afraid to share my truths. I’ve been walking my own path for quite some time now but still keeping many of my truths quiet publicly. Until the last few months when I’ve been singing my own notes right out loud. Finding my imperfect way to bring more peace, love and unity to the world.

I’m glad this provided some hope. Don’t let the election results get you down. Everything is cracking in all of our systems right now - the whole idea of top down governance is coming to a close. It’s going to be a messy descent but we will make it. Keep settling into your own knowing, weighing the truth in both hands and holding it til you know what you know. Speaking the truth is powerful but living it boldly is even more so.

It feels like the cracks have been growing for a long time now.

I’m boldly living my truths and dropped out of mainstream living in 2013 and have been of no fixed abode since then. I’ve been self employed for 16 years. Never got a mortgage or credit cards or pensions. Don’t buy into the propaganda.

But it’s getting harder and harder to live this way as they introduce more and more regulations and digital control. So roll on the closing down of the old systems and ways of doing things! 💙

Amanda, I honor this 🙏🏼 I’ve been feeling the same call to be more vulnerably truthful.

This is brilliant and rings so true! And I'm glad you mentioned the Rainbow Coalition, as I believe that each of us in our fully realized unique identity has a unique color (tone, scent, frequency etc.) to offer to the whole. We don't have to cancel out those who hold different points of view, but are being called to master the difficult task of creating a harmonious new whole when we each bring together our diverse parts. Thus, when we embrace the opportunity to be creative together, we give birth to something completely new - like a painting or a song to which all have offered their best. Can human beings really accomplish this? For me the answer is yes, of course. Otherwise this conversation wouldn't be cropping up in so many different places at once.

I know many changes are to come in my life. One of the underlying messages I get over it is to be a true to myself as I possibly can be; that is, go with what is true to me and not with what is simply acceptable to the crowd. I find it difficult to discern this.

Wizard Withwords's avatar

This is the weighing. Holding the truth in both hands, both what’s comfortable and uncomfortable and just weighing it, in your own time. Letting it settle. We don’t need an answer for everything. Some things take time to settle. The trick is not to rush to judgement or to land on a decision because the crowd says so. We each must do our own weighing, and give it time, until we know what we know.

I wasn't sure where this was going when I started reading this week's post. I ended up feeling that it's one of the most profound you've written and a call to action for each of us. Thank you again for your insight and for reminding me to honor my independent streak while holding space open for other's ideas. With deep respect.

The country song by Restless Heart, “Why Does It Have To Be Wrong Or Right” has long been a favorite of mine. For me it is even more relevant than it was before. Much to ponder, thank you for sharing your insights and clarity. They are wonderful signposts as I navigate the ever changing landscapes with more personal confidence and resilience.

Amazing piece and rings true. Thank you for the beautiful articulation of a complexity that is our challenge to navigate.

Brilliant. Masterfully woven.

This is a rather astute rendering of a complex working of individuals as well as societies that resonates with my own experience. My daily life has been teaching me to move toward holding opposing views together and find a third way for some time now. Also I have for years pondered why is it that we assign gender to non corporeal beings. Thank you for your insights

Thank you for this, another powerful conversation. Your words reminds me of Yin and Yang...

"Yin and yang is a foundational Chinese philosophical concept describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. Originating from ancient observations of light and shade, it represents a dynamic balance—such as dark/light, passive/active, or feminine/masculine—where both forces constantly interact and rely on each other for existence."

Wow. Just wow. I have been personally liberated. The "Yes And" is given the stage it deserves. Thank you. Thank you. I look foward to "kitchen table" discussions with many with this beautiful, articulate, well researched, masterpiece as our guiding light. Love You..

Loved this, Wiz Very powerful commentary.

The dissolution of the black/white, all-or-none perspective of the past would be a monumental step forward for us. No doubt you’re right that there will be much stumbling as this unfolds. But I do resonate deeply with you that this process has begun. I sense many of us are finding our voice. Simultaneously there is healthy abandonment of hope in institutions (of all types).

Many people are experiencing awakening, finding their voice, seeing more clearly, becoming capable of holding both/and complexity, and experiencing the COMPASSION that arises from this new vantage.

The vision you painted of a new circle being birthed gave me a rush of hope that I felt down to the soles of my feet:

“Somewhere in the silence after the tribal chant fades, one person stops humming the inherited melody and finds the note that is theirs, and then another, and then another, in the ever widening circle. And eventually, the eyes of one person who has learned to hold complexity will meet the eyes of another who has learned the same thing, and they’ll recognise each other across the circle, and without trying, without coordinating, without needing to agree on anything, they’ll sing.”

Aho! 🙏🏼

I'm so glad you sense it too Matthew. Sometimes when I write these things I wonder if the ideas will resonate, so it's very pleasing when they do. That section you highlighted was actually the portion where this whole piece began - it was the idea the whole thing started with, as I was watching the various world events unfold over the week, that the collapse of the pyramid and the emergence of the circle allows us to look across and see one another, and share without fear of being crushed from above. I believe we are already seeing this in some spaces, and more is to come. And our task as we wait for that circle to fully form is to practice the art of holding complexity and compassion all at once. I'm not sure how good I am at it yet, personally, but I'm trying, and I think that's what matters most. xx

So powerful. The pyramid collapsing; the circle forming where we truly see each other, without fear, and know our connection is true. TY Wiz for this vision.
