Sometimes the words just fall out of me, and then other times (like this piece) it feels like I’m unearthing something, picking away to get to the heart of the thing, or like I’m in labour giving birth to something bigger than me. Writing this one felt mildly terrifying for some reason - like it was a truth that needed to come out no matter how much it hurt. Really agonised over this one, to get it just right, then once I pressed publish, all those feelings went away and it was just joy and relief. I’m really glad it landed it for you - make it all worth it!
So very true. What we have now - the old systems - just not sustainable. The energy that propped up the old systems has turned, faded, dissipated, and now we have a new energy forming, and out of this energy we will build something better and more beautiful. Onwards!
