Today we send the light of our love to those standing at the edge - not quite in, not quite out - feeling something building but unsure what it means yet.
What I love about this blessing is that it echoes the tarot reading I did for myself last night. I usually pull cards when there’s some sort of transit happening that activates my natal chart somehow. Or for phases of the moon. But I was drawn to pull last night just because and did both a giant meditation and a brain dump journaling session beforehand that circled around some things I hadn’t even thought to admit to myself prior.
When I pulled the cards, they kept repeating these same words you wrote about standing ready and letting the divine timing work. I’ve spent this year letting go of some deeply held things that have not been serving me and reached back in that letting go to find a piece of my childhood that has gone unfulfilled. It feels like the time has come to fulfill the wish I had since I was old enough to talk.
The outcome card in the spread was celebration. I always close a reading by thanking the deck and reshuffling it and then, as I put it back into the box, I look at what has found its way to the bottom. Last night it was that same celebration card from the outcome. A message of celebration from those who guide me. It all feels right. Thanks again for the blessing.
Kent, the words you have written here carry so much buzzing energy. I can feel your life force in the midst of these words, and it's strong, like a clear signal, like a shining light. I do sense you are standing at the door to something that has long been calling you, and the cards and the universe are hosting a little celebration, and cheering you on, as you prepare to step across the threshold. ahhhhhh, here we are in the "pivoting light" the already and not yet, the threshold, the "inhale before the invocation." Your words evoke in me the song of the wood thrush in the moments before dawn breaks. She is always first to know these past few months.
yes, those early birds...they know what's coming, and they sing it in each day! a new dawn is breaking for planet Earth, and we shall be the ones to sing it in.
This morning, I fell into love with the song of the wood thrush.....the kind of love that wraps everything in a quiet kind of vibrance...that kind i felt in the maple tree. It has no words...it needs no words.....but wanted to share and am sending that energy to all of you.

I feel pretty happy to be part of it too! I started writing on Substack at the start of April this year because I felt compelled to send out a signal into the world like a lighthouse, reminding us to anchor in our hearts and keep shining through this difficult time we are all living through. I had absolutely no idea so many would respond to that signal. It's just staggering and makes my whole body smile to know there are so many of us from all over the world gathering here to shine a bit of light into the dark. xx
