I have had a vision in a past life meditation that I was an elder woman in a clay hut with a smoke hole through the roof and I was the village Firekeeper. I was responsible for keeping a community fire going, making coals available to anyone whose fire went out. I also saw that my son in my current life was responsible in that lifetime for bringing me firewood. I love imagining the community hearth in a future lifetime. In a future lifetime what would I want to envision myself doing in this life? Thank you for this vision and motivation. Keep the fire burning.

What a moving and imaginative vision of a possible future — and particularly the image of the hearth, where people gather, share what is true, and discover the sacred in simply being together.

Although this letter is written from the perspective of a future already mapped in the stars, it also reminds us that this future is ours to bring into being. Whether ordained by the stars or not, that responsibility remains with us.

And perhaps some of the sparks from those future hearths are already being kindled.

What particularly resonates with me is the possibility that this New Earth is not simply about creating different social structures, but about a fundamental transformation in how we experience ourselves and one another. Both the individual and the collective become the medium of transformation — through a deepening recognition of our interpenetration, our essential non-separation, and yet our unique and distinct expressions of the one field of being that is life itself.

This is something we've been exploring through Between-Us Groups. A Between-Us Group is, in a sense, a virtual hearth — and the relational field is the fire we gather around, and within. Rather than simply a collection of separate individuals contributing their perspectives, the collective itself becomes the medium of discovery and transformation. What emerges is not just a different way of relating, but potentially a different way of being human together.

I explored this possibility in the Coda to my book The Space Between Us. Perhaps our little experiment is one spark among many, arising from the same fire, with the potential to kindle new hearths wherever it lands.

I thought I'd share it here as a companion reflection to your beautiful letter:

Interesting timing. Last night I re-read my Astro-Blueprint through again, start to finish. Blessings have been very much on my mind these past several days. Also seems interesting that I intuitively skipped ahead of the Inner Circle post to read this first. Looks like another day of intense reading and processing ahead. Thanks for sharing! Off to the Daily Lighthouse and Resonance Room first.

Wow. Thank you. Grateful to see this vision and to continue holding my heart open at my own small hearth. My little family is about to move into a house with five fireplaces so the image of hearth just took on new meaning. At our hearth, a white woman and a brown woman and our two adopted children will kindle hope and healing and join with the other Bridgekeepers in holding space for the love that our tradition teaches is the greatest commandment and is the way to cast out fear even as those in our tradition do harm in God’s name. Thank you for the hope you kindle as you share what you read in the skies.
