But without a history of studying astrology I keep wondering why there is so much emphasis on what Neptune is doing?
Neptune is just one of the planets shaping our experience right now. In astrology we pay close attention to the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) because they move slowly, staying in each sign long enough to set the tone of an era, not just a day. Neptune has a 165-year cycle, spending about 13–14 years in each sign, which means no one sees Neptune complete a full loop in their lifetime. Pluto is similar - a 248-year cycle - so when it shifts signs, history bends with it.
By contrast, a planet like Mars runs on a 2-year cycle. It moves quickly, completes that cycle again and again, and acts like the engine of the chart - drive, desire, appetite, impulse, the spark that gets you moving. It’s constantly shifting through signs, constantly changing expression.
It's the slow, heavy hitters (like Neptune) that lay down the background frequency of the collective. An inner planet like Mars expresses our personal wants; outer planets like Neptune and Pluto shape entire generations. One is weather, the others are climate.
So, as we approach 2026, a year where four outer planets (Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter and Uranus) will all change sign, astrologers are paying attention - it is extremely rare to have a year where four outer planets all change signs within months of each other. That’s generational tectonics. That’s “the world before” and “the world after.” Most humans in history have never lived through a cluster like this. But we get to. This is the hinge of history, and everything is about to change.

Excited to move into the time of the sacred warrior who fights for freedom to be. So many reflections are coming up for me around ‘healing our root’… recognizing the age of Aries was the inception of the Abrahamic religions. Curious if ‘root healing’ is on the agenda for us in that lineage (3 major monotheistics), this turn of the wheel.

Then I realised these people who mock consciousness and the concept of a new paradigm, will be emerging from the fog, blinking. And maybe they might need people who can be a bridge. Or am I living in La La land 🙈
Yes, you have really landed on something powerful here. There are many who do not understand what’s happening right now, though they are often the loudest voices shouting down spiritual conversations. They will feel very lost in the coming months and years - their world is about to be blown apart, like shipwrecked sailors lost at sea - and those of us who are anchored will be like lighthouses guiding them safely to shore. xx

Heavy sigh. It’s a relief for my soul to read the planetary movement/energies. I’m not sure how I would have navigated this time without your charting of the planets. I’ve always been interested in astrology, checking my horoscope in the paper, reading books about the astrological signs, but you bring a depth to the science of charting I never imagined. It’s real, historical and predictable. Yet, you demonstrate how we can absorb old energy or move forward with the new energy manifesting. I’m grateful to have a map, a guide and a community through your work.
