From June 14–16, 2025 the sky demands our attention.

Mars squares Uranus at the final, volatile degrees of Leo and Taurus. This is what astrologers call the “anaretic degrees”, where pressure peaks and release is inevitable.

This isn’t a call to panic.

We don’t need fear (there’s already plenty of that going around).

We need to be awake to what’s ending, so we can be ready to choose what begins.

What’s falling apart right now must fall away in order for something better to grow in its place. It’s not failure - it’s fertilizer. Chaos as midwife to a better world. While this time is painful and disorienting for many, trust that it’s not pointless. It’s planetary design in motion, working for good, if we let it.

Here’s what we might see this weekend, so you can be prepared, not scared.

A televised military stunt or defiant show of force (think live-streamed coups, drone spectacles, or a certain someone’s birthday parade)

We’re at the end of our tolerance. And the end of the line in several powder-keg regions.

Historically, Mars-Uranus squares coincide with explosive events - flashpoints where pressure can’t be contained. In August 2022, a similar square aligned with Ukraine’s dramatic counteroffensive. This weekend could mark another no-going-back moment, especially for countries whose charts are activated by the final degrees of Leo and Taurus.

One of the most exact national activations is Iran, whose chart features a Leo Ascendant at 29°, exactly struck by Mars this weekend. Uranus simultaneously shakes its Taurus Midheaven, triggering visibility, power, and potential regime-level pressure. Iran is on the astrological fault line.
