"Los Angeles isn’t just a city right now - it’s a mirror."

This isn't the first time LA has been a mirror for this country. I'm not sure what was happening in the stars during the LA riots and the beating of Rodney King in the early 90s but it's very interesting that a little over 30 years later now this craziness is happening with ICE.

Yes, exactly. LA has always been a mirror, and sometimes it shows the country its ugliest truths.

Back in 1991, when Rodney King was beaten, the skies were lit with a rare Mars–Saturn–Neptune alignment - a cosmic signature of suppressed rage, institutional violence, and blurred accountability. That alignment cracked open the illusion of justice and sparked a long-overdue racial reckoning.

Now, over 30 years later, we're in a karmic sequel.

The U.S. is in its Pluto Return, a cycle of national breakdown and rebirth, and we’re heading toward a powerful Saturn–Neptune conjunction in 2026 - the kind that demands we collapse the lies our systems were built on.

What’s playing out with ICE in LA isn’t random. It’s part of a larger pattern. The themes of brutality, identity, and systemic power are resurfacing louder and more entangled than ever.

This isn’t just history repeating.....it’s history remembering.

Seeing this all from an astrological perspective and putting these pieces together has been...something to say the least. I've personally never bought into the whole US is "color blind" and accepts everyone, being a melting pot that was being pushed in the early 2000s and later. It's always felt incredibly disingenuous and honestly fake to me growing up but I mostly kept my mouth shut because I knew what I always felt, or what I couldn't really put into words at a young age wouldn't be received well.

Fast forward to now and everything that has been rotting under the surface of this country can no longer be hidden or glossed over because now it's not JUST black people affected but people of ALL races and we can no longer hide it or gloss over it like it used to be. I know there is still a long way to go but frankly it's time.

Jasmine- I felt this all my life. I live in Minnesota, where Minnesota nice means I’ll give you the shirt off my back, but I’m not gonna tell you where I live. I left when I was 18 and have been all over the country. It’s simmering everywhere. It’s differentness.. the grasping at the fading power of patriarchy in dominance is so apparent. I’m so glad that the rot is being exposed. It’s been there all the time and just with a little veneer padded on top of it.

Thank you for the cosmic perspective. In Los Angeles tonight and thinking back to the uprising in ‘91. We will prevail.

I am sending you all the light of my love. Yes, the trauma of '91 still lives in the bones of that city. That memory is stirring tonight. I pray for a more peaceful outcome this time.

Real love always prevails...There is a quote from Galeano I will put here.

“Celebration of the Human Voice---

When it is genuine, when it is born of the need to speak, no one can stop the human voice. When denied a mouth, it speaks with the hands or the eyes, or the pores, or anything at all. Because every single one of us has something to say to the others, something that deserves to be celebrated or forgiven by others.”

― Eduardo Galeano, The Book of Embraces
