Who knew the dawn of a new age would feel so very grim? Well, the stars did, of course, but many of us had hoped it all might feel a bit more hopeful. But instead, the Strait of Hormuz is still closed, oil is over $100 a barrel, fuel prices are skyrocketing, and supermarket shelves are beginning to show the first gaps as we tumble headfirst into the worst energy crisis in our lifetimes. Allies that America spent a year bullying have declined, one by one, to come and help clean up a war they were never asked about and never wanted. The largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market is now in full swing, and the man who started it is threatening to blow up civilian infrastructure on social media at 3am.
Yes, a new age is dawning, but first the old one must be put to rest, and the one we have been living in is not going quietly. This is the end of the age of oil, and the age of the mind, and the age of dominance, fear and control, and the beginning of an age that is led by the heart. We are walking through what feels like chaos on our way to coherence - this is what the way between worlds feels like.
Beneath the larger story of bombs falling and oil prices rising and the ensuing food scarcity and energy instability is the political reckoning running alongside it. What is unravelling in the Gulf and in fuel queues worldwide is also unravelling in the White House. The end of the petroleum age and the end of the Trump era are not two separate stories - it is all one collapse, wearing different faces. It’s all the same story, told at different scales, arriving at the same moment, because the sky planned it that way.
This week marks the real new year - celestially, at least - now that the Sun has stepped into Aries and joined Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Chiron, and the Moon all already gathered at the first degrees, holding the frequency of a new world seeded by the Genesis Reset on February 20. The old world doesn’t step aside - it has to be moved, and this week is the beginning of that movement as the seed begins to bloom by breaking through what’s been covering it.
What unfolds from now through July is a deliberate, astrologically precise sequence of escalating pressure that will change the shape of the world - a series of devastating revelations and disruptions that act like a fire sweeping through, destroying everything that is hollow and has been surviving on borrowed time and borrowed credibility, held together by fog rather than substance.
Through the coming global crisis of April, May and June, we move full speed ahead towards a showdown on July 4 - America’s 250th birthday - that will be marked in the history books for more reasons than just the cake. The United States and its current leader are on a collision course with destiny that meets its destination on the same day the nation celebrates the anniversary of its founding two and half centuries ago. America and Donald Trump have both been on the run from karma since the beginning, and July 4 this year is when it arrives for them both at once.
Trump’s crown is slipping, and the throne he has built for himself is beginning to quake. The sky tells us that these are the days of the fall of kings, and even those who have long seemed untouchable - who have outrun consequence for far too long - are about to find out how much karma can sting.
