The Week Ahead: At the Threshold of Everything

Last week, the wound walked home. After eight years in Aries - eight years of the warrior’s wound, and the wound of identity - Chiron crossed into Taurus, and something in the collective shifted. The ache changed texture, becoming less sharp and more deep. More body. More earth. And then Uranus squared the lunar Node, and the fork in the road shook beneath our feet.
This week, the sky goes still before it roars as the solstice arrives and the year pivots on its axis. Maximum light, maximum visibility, and then the long lean back toward dark. Not darkness - just the turn. We are at the still-point, and standing still, we can see in both directions at once. We look behind and see the tumult that brought us here, and what we see ahead is also considerable, and it's all laid out below.
The sky is loud this week for both the United Kingdom and its current Prime Minister Keir Starmer. I’ll dive into both charts to show what this week’s sky is asking Britain to decide about itself, and why the answer matters beyond its borders.
Beyond that, we are gearing up for a Full Moon in Capricorn illuminating what has been built and what has crumbled. Jupiter entering Leo, ending fourteen months in the emotional depths of Cancer and asking the collective to rise and be seen. And nine days from now, Mars conjuncts Uranus in Gemini on July 4 - the United States’ 250th birthday - an aspect that does not whisper, but strikes like lightning. And then beyond that, a series of unprecedented celestial configurations - a convergence the sky has not seen in recorded history and won't come again in our lifetimes - pointing to the first real light of the world that comes after.
This week is the breath before all of that, as the Sun moves through three key aspects in a sequence that looks like a deliberate preparation for everything the sky is about to ask of us. This week makes everything that follows possible, as we stand, eyes open, at the threshold of everything.
