Dear friends,
Some weeks ask us to pay attention, and this one asks us to get ready. On Monday Mars walks into Leo, the sign of the crown, and on Saturday it stands face to face with Pluto in Aquarius, the sign of the people. The crown meets the crowd, and it’s a meeting the world’s seen before.
Two hundred and thirty-seven years ago this week - while Mars was heading for this same face-off the last time Pluto walked through Aquarius - the market women of Paris marched through the rain to Versailles, broke through the palace gates and hauled a king and queen out of their gilded rooms and into the hands of the crowd, and for the next twenty years, every time Mars and Pluto met across this line, another throne shook. That was the French Revolution, when those who wore crowns lost their heads. Now Pluto’s back in Aquarius, and the series has started again.
Saturday is the peak, and the story keeps rolling from there, right through America’s midterms and into round two in mid-November, and onwards for the next two decades. Every couple of years until the early 2040s, the warrior-king will be dragged back to face the crowd, and this week opens the next chapter of the cycle.
The stakes are very real - under this sky, power gets confronted and whoever has been sitting at the top suddenly has to face the people directly. Historically, that’s when the crowns dig in, and people get hurt, which is why we want to go into this week with our eyes open - we know this transit’s shape, we know where it lands and we know when it passes, and that makes all the difference to how we meet it.
The sky has already marked the charts it’s coming for. A king and a brother are locked in a fight over what was said about Diana, with a second act already on its way. A strongman sits right at the flashpoint. A nation votes on the eve of the clash. A superpower’s own people light up like nowhere else on Earth. The watchers are being watched, an AI giant has been caught somewhere it shouldn’t be, and the angry-king energy edges closer and closer to Trump’s own chart. That’s as much as I’ll say out here in the open - the detail belongs in the quieter space for those who are ready to hold it.
What’s coming lands close to home too. The same fight between crown and crowd runs through our own lives this week: the power struggle simmering at work or at home, the resentment we’ve buried, the person we’ve been handing our power to for far too long. Tempers will run hot and old things will surface, and for some of us this is the week we finally stand up and walk out of a room we’ve outgrown.
