Dear friends,
Last week, Venus completed her tour of Cancer with one final touch of the wound, and then crossed into Leo to light the candles for the second half of the year. The cradle was acknowledged, the heart stepped forward, grief was made real, and then the light stepped forward too. Many of us felt it. The small relief, the new room in the chest, the quiet ignition of something that wants to be seen.
This week, the sky asks a much larger question.
After eight years of inhabiting Aries - eight years of presiding over the wound of the self, the warrior, identity, autonomy, and the brutal politics of who gets to be a person - Chiron, the wounded healer, leaves the sign on Friday. It crosses into Taurus for the first time in roughly fifty years, giving us three months of preview before retrograding back into Aries in September - one final return to complete what the fire started. The permanent crossing comes in April next year, and Chiron stays in Taurus until 2033. What opens this week is the first glimpse of home - the full homecoming follows. The wound itself is on the move, and when the wound moves, everything that has been organised around it begins to reorganise too.
That’s not the only pivot this week. Monday brings the first New Moon since Uranus crossed into Gemini at the end of April - the very first lunar seed of the new era of voice, network, and lightning-fast information. Saturday brings Uranus squaring the lunar Node - a sharp collective redirection that sits exactly two weeks before the Mars–Uranus conjunction at the Fourth Gate on July 4.
This is a hinge week. Not the loudest one, but one of the most structural. It’s the week the wound walks home.
Below, I’ve mapped out each day of the week according to the sky - what’s happening on the world stage, what it’ll feel like personally, and the mantra to carry through each day - and then I've laid out the deeper teaching on what it means for Chiron to leave Aries after eight years, why this particular passage is so significant, and what the sky is asking of us as the wound moves from the warrior to the body.
