The Week Ahead: Where the Grief Meets the Light
A cosmic map for the coming week; guidance and encouragement for June 7-13 2026

Last week the sky burned bright as the Sagittarius Full Moon lit the truth-axis - the deep that had been rising finally found its sentence under the truth-Moon, and many of us spoke things out loud that we could not have spoken a fortnight earlier. Then Mercury crossed out of Gemini’s chatter and into Cancer’s chamber, and the conversation turned from the head to the home, from idea to ache, and from debate to belonging.
This week, the sky asks a different question. Now that we have spoken the truth, what does the heart want to do with it?
The answer arrives through Venus, who for the past few weeks has been swimming through Cancer alongside Mercury - the sign of the cradle, the kitchen, the coast, the mother, the motherland. The sign of belonging and of grief. While she has been there, the collective heart has been turned toward home, but this week, her tour of Cancer is complete as she crosses into Leo, touches Chiron as she goes - the final wound of belonging, the cost of having been held imperfectly by the places and people we came from. Grief is touched, and then the heart steps forward.
This week is the crossing, from cradle to crown, from belonging to sovereignty, from the heart that asks who holds me to the heart that asks who sees me. Venus is the herald - she walks into Leo first and lights the candles, and by the end of June Jupiter will follow her across the threshold. The whole second half of the year is being prepared in this week’s passage.
This is not a week to push, but a week to cross, feeling all the grief we’ve been holding as we go. The grief is what makes the light real, and the light is what makes the grief worth carrying.
