This truth runs at the heart of many nations today, it's just America has hung around long enough to reach its Pluto return at which point the truth can be outrun no longer. Perhaps America may lead the way in showing the rest of the world how to reckon with the past to pave the way to a brighter tomorrow.

I struggled at first with what to say in my high school classroom today. I didn’t want to not say anything, but wasn’t sure what to say. During a conversation with another teacher, she shared about leading with love. Thanks to her, I had my words, from my heart and with empathy. Really good to read your article this evening. I so appreciate your detailed and well researched essays. Tragic and heart breaking but what is so disturbing is the response from this administration and of course Fox News, it appears all they can fixate on is that the shooter was transgender.
There are those who will respond from a closed heart, and those who respond with an open one. Don’t be thrown off by the closed hearted, those who choose to step out of their power as they move through the world. Anchor in your own heart, allow yourself to feel what rises - we cannot change others, we can only change ourselves. Fear is contagious, but so is heart energy. We are all infectious - it’s up to us to decide what with.
