What the World Needs Now Is… Not Love?
Why love without truth is just another lie. Heart energy isn’t about being nice. It’s about being real.
We’ve been fed this line for decades - what the world needs now is love, sweet love. But I want to push back on that. Not because love isn’t powerful. It is. But because love without truth is just spiritual wallpaper. Pretty. Popular. Hollow.
There’s plenty of spiritual teachers out there who will tell you that the highest vibration is that of love. That heart energy is all about tuning to the frequency of love.
But let’s be real: the highest vibration isn’t love. It’s truth.
Not the curated, brand-safe “truth” we post with a filter and a vulnerable caption. I’m talking about the kind of truth that undoes you. That wrecks your ego, shatters your story, and asks: Who are you without the mask?
We talk about “heart energy” like it’s all warmth and oneness. But real heart energy? It’s not a group hug. It’s a scalpel. A mirror. A frequency that sees through the artifice and holds the essence - whatever that essence may be.
The heart doesn’t just love. It reveals.
And what it reveals isn’t always pretty.
We Haven’t Lost Love. We’ve Lost Truth.
We still throw love around like digital glitter - likes, hearts, “sending love” in comments. But look deeper. We’re living behind masks. Filters. Narratives. Most of us are performing ourselves.
We smile when we want to scream. We say “I’m fine” when we’re falling apart. We post about light while hiding in shadow.
We are drowning in faux love, and starving for real truth.
It’s not that love has left the building. It’s that truth was shown the door a long time ago. Truth makes people uncomfortable. Truth threatens the curated identity. Truth doesn’t “do numbers.”
So we dress up avoidance as love.
We call enabling compassion.
We weaponize softness to avoid the sharpness of reality.
But without truth, love is counterfeit. It’s saccharine.
It feels good, but it doesn’t heal.
Truth Isn’t Just a Vibe. It’s a Revolution.
Here’s what most people don’t want to admit:
Truth is dangerous. Truth is disruptive. Truth costs.
We don’t reject truth because we can’t find it - we reject it because we can. And we’re terrified of what it will demand from us.
We’ve made truth the villain. The aggressor. The troublemaker.
But truth is the only thing that can set us free. And we’re not talking about facts or hot takes - we’re talking about soul-level truth.
The truth of who you are when nobody’s watching.
The truth of what you know deep down and can’t un-know.
The truth that, once seen, asks you to change your life.
And that truth? It doesn’t whisper. It roars.
Truth Is Love. But It’s Love in Its Final Form.
Here’s the twist most people can’t hold:
Truth and love aren’t opposites.
They are the same current, expressed at different temperatures.
The love we glorify is still in its infant stage - soft, pleasing, palatable.
But truth is love all grown up. Scarred. Sober. Sovereign.
It’s not here to make you feel good.
It’s here to make you whole.
Real heart energy doesn’t just stroke your hair and tell you you’re enough.
It stands in front of you like a storm and says:
“You are living a lie. You know it. I know it. Now choose.”
That is sacred. That is holy.
And that is the kind of love that saves.
What the World Needs Now… Is Truth.
So no - I don’t think what the world needs now is more love.
I think the world needs people brave enough to see clearly, speak honestly, and live authentically - no matter the fallout.
Because once we meet truth, once we surrender to its burn, that’s when love becomes real. That’s when love gets teeth. That’s when it stops being a costume and starts being a covenant.
Truth will save us.
But first, it will ruin us.
And if you’re someone who’s been ruined by truth before - welcome. You’re not broken. You’re being rebuilt in the image of something real.
Let the world chase love.
I’ll be over here, walking with truth.
That’s the heart energy I’ll be holding.
And when it’s time, truth and love will meet.
Not in a meme. Not in a moodboard.
But in the fire.
I’ll see you there.

My intention in my writing is to lessen the climate of fear around world events by offering clarity and cosmic context for what’s unfolding; to bring context to the chaos. I believe our highest calling right now is to anchor in the vibration of love & truth and call in a more beautiful world, and to do that, we must lean out of fear. I hope you read this with an open, uplifted heart.
❤/truth this..Thank you.
Ray Bradbury said emotion is truth and thinking 💭 is mostly lies.
