“ The light does not advance by charging into the dark with clenched fists - it advances by staying lit. We can’t destroy the dark by extinguishing our own light - that only ever spreads the darkness. That is what brought us here. It will not carry us forward”

Yes!

As a lifetime, Mystic, I’ve always been taught to protect my energy field. In the last six months or so it’s been about brightening my light for protection. light gobbles dark and there’s so much light on the planet. Thank you elevating this. I do believe this is the new way. I had chills when I heard Carney’s speech. I’ve been dreaming about this time for the last 35+ years. I’ve seen visions of lights horizontally spread across the planet, not vertically.

I’ve spent the last two days filling my neighborhoods and city with light.. when I watch videos I run energy so that I can freely feel my rage and love and power. Minneapolis is so elevated right now. I heard some psychic talk about how awful Minneapolis was and we’re gonna get bombed, etc. etc.. She doesn’t know how it feels here. It’s electric and positive and powerful and connected. Still, every time I am out I am fiercely looking into every single car I pass whether I’m walking or driving. I am prepared to turn around and follow and protect my neighbors. My whistle is at the ready. My horn is loud. I’ve had the circumstances where I come on lurking ice agents waiting to snatch parents at a bus stop as I’m driving to the park with my dog in the dawn.

Thank you for all the love and light that has been shared to Minnesota. We are part of the collective. We all rise together.

Oh Anna, you are a living embodiment of the light of love, and the work you are doing just by shining into the darkness if doing more than you can see with your physical eyes. I’m so glad and grateful to be connected to you, as each day now when I’m in the quiet place, I visualise sending light down the golden threads directly to you, further strengthening your already powerful love lamp. Keep going, knowing how many of us are standing behind you energetically. Their fear cannot outshine our love - this light will outshine the dark. xx

You warned us it was going to be rough and so it is. The clear image of the saber rattling zombie of the past on the stage at Davos against the clear strong voice of reason holds me together in moments of rage.

Last night I saw something about going outside at 8pm to light a candle for MN. I was the only one in my neighborhood to do this, but I imagined all of us outside with candles ones and twos in our neighborhood holding up our little lights bathing MN with our love and light to help heal this violence and insanity. Every little light together is helping usher in a new world experience.

Thanks Wiz!

The candle to be lit is the one in our hearts - even if you can’t do it physically, doing it energetically is the part that really matters. They can blow out the candle in your driveway, but they can’t touch the one in your heart. Stay lit, shine bright, don’t lose hope - this light will outshine the darkness. xx

Hang in there. Sending you all the love, all the light, all the strength. You are not alone. The whole world is standing with you. xx

Thank you again for the wonderful recap of the week, but also reminding us to remain grounded and keep our hearts open. We had a snow and ice storm in my area yesterday, and after coming inside after taking my dog for a walk, I decided to sweep the snow off the stairs in my apartment building. As I was doing it, I thought about the golden threads that you talk about often. I hope that by doing something (unknown) for my neighbors, that I was spreading love along the golden threads

Wizard Withwords's avatar

Kevin, that story brought a tear to my eye. Such a beautiful, quiet, selfless act, emanating straight from your heart space and yes - lighting up the golden threads. Love in action - the most powerful kind. We can light up the golden threads just by taking ourselves into the stillness and visualising the threads lighting up as we send our love to those who need it - it really is no more complicated than that - but to move from the stillness out into the world and turn that love into an action, that is mighty powerful. You may think you were sweeping snow off the stairs, but you were doing so much more. That love will be felt by those around you, wether you or they know it or not. This is how we light up the world. Keep going. xx

Thank you Wiz. My husband and I lived in MN and raised our children there until 5 years ago when we moved to the east coast. Our middle daughter and her family are still there. It is very difficult for us to witness the events in MN without feeling as you said "the desire to exterminate the darkness" (aka ICE). Your writings help me to refocus on the heart, love, and truth and take my mind off of vengeance. I know that vengeance is fear in action. Thank you for reminding me. I am going to watch Mark Carney's speech now in full to realign myself.

Wizard Withwords's avatar

It’s such a natural reflex for us all, especially in this world we have built where it’s almost been trained into us. We are so far down the rabbit hole, so far entrenched in a fear-driven way of thinking, many of us don’t really know what to reach for in these moments. Vengeance is what has been trained into us - it’s the only map we were provided. We have to make a new one - we have to chart a new way, guided by the heart. Every awful thing happening now is being fuelled by fear, and if we respond with fear, we just get more fear. Somewhere, somehow, we must break the cycle. We can go no further down this rabbit hole. I hope you enjoy Carney’s speech - if nothing else, it’s refreshing to hear a leader speaking like a statesman, instead of a rambling, ranting madman. xx

It was refreshing to hear a coherent leader like Mark Carney. I forwarded it to several friends and family. I'm hoping that the rest of the world hears him and they create a balanced coalition. That will help the US in the long run because we know that this regime cannot sustain this discord.

I think the rest of the world breathed a sigh of relief when he spoke. Carney’s heading to Australia to speak to parliament there in March - I predict a greater alliance between those two countries, as both unravel their American ties. It’s a sad time - the end of an era - but also an awakening, that allows better to grow. xx

This really popped out for me. "Too many people confuse the heart space with the happy place, but the heart is not the place for happy. It's a place for truth. And whatever is true, we must bring it to the heart."

I do have that misconception. I think of someone with a big heart as warm, cuddly, giving. Like the old saying "he would give you the shirt off his back." But a person anchored in truth is also focused, confident yet humble, resilient, empowering due to a dedication to serving others. Capable of holding their light bright and steady in the face of darkness.

Most of us have long underestimated the power of the heart.

Wizard Withwords's avatar

I have realised lately that more needs to be said about the nature of the heart space, because it really has been confused and misinterpreted as a place where only happy, fuzzy feelings exist. Our understanding of love is skewed too - love is truth, and when you think of it like that, much of what we call love doesn’t actually hold much truth, which means whatever it is, it’s not really love. This moment requires a new understanding of the heart and of love - when we anchor in the heart and emanate love we are not cuddling the world as much as we are steadfastly holding a boundary, feet planted in immovable truth, and radiating the energy of that truth with strength, fairness, resilience and no fear. When we master that kind of actual love, when we work out what our heart is actually for, we step into our power. xx

I look forward to reading more about the nature of heart space! I came away from watching the movie Gandhi with the same realization.

Yes, it was a rough week to witness the world and my country's events...so many ups and downs. Murder again with my morning coffee in hand. Then a heroic Mark Carney bringing a message like a grown up in a whirlwind. So grateful for him 💓 that he seized the moment. Way to go!!! I saw your comment about heart love above...yes please share your wisdom. Peace and love ❤️ from frigid frozen central tx...

Murder and morning coffee - it would be funny, if only it wasn't so harrowing. These are dark times, and all the more reason for us to shine our light. Yes, thank goodness for Mark Carney, and others like him who will now rise. I will say more about the true nature of the heart space - I realise we are all relearning what love is, one terrible trial at a time. xx Stay warm!! xx

What is breaking down is also making space for transformation.

Not retreat.

Not domination.

But presence.

Love taking a body.

Truth refusing abstraction.

Courage without cruelty.

This is not naïve hope.

It is evolutionary truth.

Thank you, Wiz, it is always so meaningful to read your wisdom. Thank you for inspiring all of with your words.

May we have the courage

to stay present as the old stories loosen their grip.

May we learn to recognize one another

not by fear or faction,

but by the deeper truth that lives beneath our defenses.

And may we remember — again and again —

that what is breaking down is not the end,

but the opening through which a more spacious love

is learning how to take form.

(These are from my post today)

A more spacious love! Yes! I love every word of this Elizabeth, thank-you for sharing. xx
