I really love the murmuration analogy. It's really that it's that frequency of movement and connection that I know I have been feeling lately in the streets of Minneapolis where we're running underground, eating papers with addresses, taking agents on a wild goose chase with some Mexican flags in the back of my car, but somehow we just all did this all at once. I saw it in my family. We started connecting and we were all doing work. I looked around the community and it was almost in full engagement within a couple weeks. That's murmuration through the community- I strongly feel that it's the way we're going. It's all about the heart..
thank you once again for a beautiful, thoughtful thorough rendition of this insane time that we're in. It brings me hope. I've known that everything must fall, though the cruelty is really tough to watch. I'm trying to stay on my eagle perch view, and be part of the new resistance, the murmuration of the new times.
Anna, you and your community in Minneapolis have the hardest job of all - staying hopeful while right in the midst of the collapse. Hard to hold that eagles perch when there is so much right in front of you calling your attention. You’re all doing so well, and we’re all surrounding you with light and love, sending strength from afar. xx
I often wondered why my heart opened up when I saw a murmuration--and oh, how I wanted to fly with them. Now I know I can be part of a murmuration, while my feet are on the ground. Thank you. 💛
This is exactly what I woke up extra early this morning needing to read. Thank you for the confirmation that the path forward I have chosen is not only workable but essential.
Every week my first response is to say Whoa!! So much, so well written and shared. It’s like recognizing a very old book I know I’ve read before, long ago. The words settle in with a feeling of belonging. A puzzle piece I’ve been expecting and waiting for. So I face this week with more confidence and peace. Thank you.
I love that - like recognizing an old book. That’s how it feels as it flows through me….like remembering something I once knew well, like a puzzle coming together. I’m so please it all lands for you the same way it does for me. Onwards!
I love watching birds. Yesterday 20 or 30 small black birds were in the tree near our house and they all flew into a murmuration while a crow looked on from a rooftop. I also like to see the geese form that flying V formation, and seem to effortlessly change who is in the lead of the V. I feel hopeful today that we will all learn to work together from our hearts. Thank you for the weekly wrap-up. I always look forward to reading these each week.
Yes, I have always marvelled at the birds, and I believe this is something we inherently know how to do as humans - it’s an ancient skill we lost, but are now remembering. When we look at the pyramids in Egypt and even our best minds still puzzle at how they were made by humans thousands of years ago, I suspect it had something to do with this lost ancient skill of coherence. Oh the things we can do when we all feel one another heart to heart. We are about to remember the most important thing of all. Glad you’re enjoying the wrap-ups! Thank-you for reading!
Dear Wiz - Thank you for the beautifully hopeful summation of this time as revealed by the stars! I, too, loved the murmuration analogy. This past week, along with countless others, I have been mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the figure skating in the Winter Olympics. The feeling of awed wonder that comes with witnessing the couples skating together in such astonishing, graceful synchrony is very similar to the feeling of seeing a murmuration. It feels miraculous, the way these artist/athletes are revealing to the world the hidden capacities within us all.
Another comment - surely all the many centuries of development of the mind and intellect, along with the awareness of each of our own unique gifts need not be seen as a mistake. Do we not return to the heart transformed, having developed, through the mind, a different kind of human capacity? As T.S. Eliot so beautifully expressed it in his poem, Little Gidding:
Yes, Lee, the figure skating is such a perfect example of the murmuration and what we as humans are capable of. I also think the same whenever I see synchronise swimming (though none of that at the Winter Olympics!). And the Age of the Mind was certainly not a waste or an error - sometimes we learn our most important lessons stumbling about in the dark. Humanity achieved incredible things by honing the power of the mind. Now our minds are sharp, we get to discover what they can do when we introduce the heart. We’re not switching off our minds - were allowing them to be informed by something deeper. It’s like the universe is saying, “All that, and now more.” We’re not abandoning the mind, we’re just powering it with something wiser.
Have you read the book “The Starfish & the Spider”? It so relates to the post today. It is about different styles of leadership and has been in my mind since 2012 when I was in a culty hierarchical organization and, with others within it, looking for a different model for leadership. If you or anyone here is interested in reading it, I have it in pdf form and can send out, or attach it here if there is a way. In it, they talk about decentralized organizations and top down organizations. It already exists, has always, both and combinations of them, but to consciously choose which one is best for each circumstance and situation.

Yes, may we all learn to fly together, bound heart to heart, like the birds.

Glad it made for some good early morning reading!

Murmuration and the open heart - just the visual I needed today. This lands as truth in my body and I’m delighted.
I love that!
I’m feeling hopeful. Thank you for this incredible astrological insight.
My pleasure, thanks for reading.

"Stay open in your heart." Quite a simple yet powerful, meaningful statement. Thanks, Wizard.
It is simple, yet so challenging. Eyes wide, hearts open….onwards!!
I know this in my soul. Thank you for articulating it so clearly.
Glad it resonated. xx

And know the place for the first time.

I would be very interested in reading this, please. Thank you for mentioning it! 🙏💜
