My fear takes the shape of FLEE: Move somewhere, exist somewhere, that isn’t HERE (US). That’s the wall I’m trying to learn to sit with. I appreciated the summary going back to ‘20. I tangled with furious MAGAs this past week (mad at being reminded that Trump also pled the 5th 440 times), and your article (and “translations”) reminded me to regard them with greater compassion. It’s just fear, coming out in different ways.
Yes, flee is the option many take when they reach the wall, and it’s perfectly understandable. Be gentle with yourself as this path is not easy, but the heart is waiting just beyond that fear if you will allow it. I’m pleased the “fear as fury” notion helped stir compassion - it’s hard to be compassionate when people are raging and causing trouble, but when we remember they’re just afraid, that’s really all it is, it helps reframe it so more love can be present. Challenging, but worthwhile. Onwards!

Running theme with Trump and even Heather Cox Richardson has commented on it is he never takes responsibility for anything. Some is always there to bail him out his father lawyers etc. also he only played a successful businessman on TV.
I love your posts and look forward to them every week. However, your take on Covid and Fauci, reminds me of what Ken Wilber says, "No one is 100% right or 100% wrong." As someone who has studied and practiced alternative medicine for 55 years and who followed very closely both the accepted narrative and many of the dissenting voices during Covid, I disagree with your assessment. I am not interested in arguing the points you make and wouldn't even know where to begin. I am only posting this for your readers to remind them that we should NEVER believe wholesale what ANYONE says, no matter how much we respect them. This week’s Wrap-Up wasn’t written as a defence of Fauci - it flagged the diary entry contradicting his sworn testimony, and the mask messaging failure, and that neither side gave the public what it deserved in last week’s hearing. All of that information is in the piece you shared, but it seems to use it as confirmation that Fauci is a villain, which is more interpretive than what I was attempting to do.
Yes, Fauci’s diary entries certainly suggest he was quite taken with and distracted by his sudden fame during the pandemic, and that there are still questions to be answered about what actually went on during the pandemic, which in the end is exactly the point - there are still questions to be answered, even after the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic ran for most of 2023 and 2024, and Fauci testified before Congress multiple times, and Rand Paul grilled him repeatedly in the Senate going back to 2021. It’s a shame the whole matter seems to have descended into a Fauci witch-hunt, rather than a genuine, rigorous interrogation of what happened in 2020, and in all the years leading up to it, and what’s been hidden (if anything) or covered up (if anything). The vibe of last week was “Get Fauci” when what’s needed is just “get the truth.” We won’t get to the latter if the intention is the former.
I appreciate that the piece you shared highlights the tough questions Democrats asked Fauci in the 80’s during the AIDS crisis (though it didn’t provide any of Fauci’s answers, which doesn’t really allow the reader to get the full picture). I really agree with you - I think it’s healthy to be sceptical and to question and not just believe anything blindly (especially when it comes to health), and ultimately a hearing with lines of questioning more like those the Democrats asked in the 80’s would have been helpful here to discuss the details in his diaries. Instead, all we got was a show.
I agree that we need the whole truth, not just Fauci's part in the debacle. There were so many different perspectives being shared at the beginning and many of the voices were censored and deplatformed. Doctors and scientists lost jobs and research funding. For something we were told we knew nothing about, the silencing of voices, especially of those who were on the ground treating patients, was particularly distressing and suspicious. In a real emergency, we need as much input as possible. That was one of the things that made me do a deeper dive and look behind the mainstream narrative. It was not what we were told, that's for sure!
Yes, Karina, you are hitting on something I actually wrote a whole section about but then cut because it went off on a tangent (maybe it should become it's own piece!), but during the pandemic, we really saw the force and dominance of the Age of the Mind demonstrated in real time, with the top down power structures stamping out any opposing voices, all supposedly for the good of the whole. It was yet another example of the Age of the Mind reaching its limit - the era where we did what we were told without question, despite our deeply held feelings or convictions, starting to come to an end. Ultimately, that's what the pandemic did - it toppled that power structure, not necessarily because the science was wrong or the advice was faulty, but because the age of ruling from above was coming to an end. We are moving from the tower to the hive - from the vertical pyramid to the horizontal network. COVID cracked the foundations of the tower, and it's messy as it comes down, but over time we will find our way into the hive. The future is horizontal not vertical. Thanks for stirring this discussion - clearly what I cut from this piece wanted to be heard, and I appreciate you calling it forth. xx
This was so helpful to read, not only the astrology but the history beginning with the pandemic. I was just asking my husband to explain a bit more to me about the Fauci hearings, and you have done just that and very clearly. As for the fear - yesterday I had a small group of friends over and dared to suggest that maybe there was something beautiful waiting for us down the road if we keep our attention on the highest manifestation of what we want to see unfold - specifically during the time of the Lion's Gate. One of the people present became triggered and a bit confrontational, I assume thinking I was being too Pollyannaish, and I felt a bit like cold water had been poured on my flame. Not that I allowed it to be extinguished, but it did trigger some feelings of alienation in relation to this friend. Thank you for returning my attention to the big picuture.
