It is a constant dance, leaning out of fear and into love, and trying not to lean back! It’s a habit, and the more we master love the less we reach for fear. You’re doing so well, and I’m so glad these words are meaningful to you. Keep shining bright. 🥰

This lays it out with brutal clarity. We’re not watching strength, strategy, or leadership. We’re watching a government built on fear run out of runway. The boat strikes, the cover stories, the incoherent foreign policy, the nonstop meltdowns, it’s all the same pattern. Fear at the wheel pretending to be power. What you wrote tracks the whole thing: the louder it gets, the closer it is to collapse.

Yes that’s exactly it - just because it’s getting louder doesn’t mean it’s getting stronger, just more desperate. Those who rose to power riding on the frequency of fear have no idea to do when the heart frequency comes online. They know they won’t be able to hold on to power amidst the rising frequency, so they make a lot of noise and fuss as the frequency that powered them flickers out!

They've up the ante as they cling to the power they know is false and soon to end! I wait with heart, eyes wide open, while I practice fearlessness, trust and presence🙏💗🙏

Yes, it all gets louder when those who misuse power know that power is waning. Hearts open, trust the flow, no fear needed. Onwards!

I have always marveled at how my bellicose, self-aggrandizing, “greatest country in the world” is actually so based in fear ~ terror of the other, the unfamiliar, of change ~ that we won’t even allow ourselves to take an honest look at what we are. Without that, there can be no change. Instead of change, we lash out, yell louder, make empty threats, and generally throw tantrums. Trump is the pinnacle of a tantruming child, but he isn’t the only one. The US Empire has had a finger in every single possible pie around the world for well over a century, especially when there’s something to be gained for our true governing princes, our CEOs, oligarchs, tech bros, et al.

As I was reading this wildly comforting missive, I was reminded of Father Greg Boyle’s book, “Tattoos on the Heart,” a masterwork on the healing power of unconditional love, even for the most deeply wounded among us. It is a how-to on seeing the god / light in everyone, in all things, and when I read it, and reread it, I am brought into alignment with the truth of who we really are. Love no matter what. Love what’s beautiful and what’s ugly, what’s broken and what’s whole. Love what succeeds and what fails. This is what will save us in the end. I’m so grateful to have your weekly messages to shine the light and to reassure that love will win, even as we’re facing such chaos. Thank you. Bless you.

Yes, for a good long while Americans have proudly declared theirs was the greatest country in the world, however, so many who said that had never ventured beyond their own borders to see if it was true. Now, quite clearly, it is manifestly untrue, and it does raise the question of why such hubris was ever necessary. Indeed, it is hubris that America has long suffered from, and in the end, hubris has been its downfall. The truth is being very painfully revealed now. I love Father Greg Boyle's teaching as you have explained it, and yes indeed, it is a very great challenge to find a way to keep out heart open to all of life's happenings, be they to our liking or not. It is only when we close our heart that we sink into darkness. And open heart is a bright light - may ours shine for all the world to see. xx
