You reinforce that we nurture only time and love in our toolbox. It’s a tall order with the actions of despots in these times. I’m grateful for the history of times like these and the guidance for our hearts. Understanding the Genesis Portal has been a quiet solace as I listen to the chaos blaring from people and wires. I’m hanging on, riding the storm out with you and those who understand what it is we are all here for, at this moment in time. Breathe and let go of fear. We got this…thanks Wiz:-)
It’s a wild ride. I was really looking forward to the Genesis Reset for so long - but who knew it was going to unravel things so rapidly!! Hehe. Well, the sky did, and it was telling us, but we lack imagination sometimes.
I live in Bend Oregon where last week our community was torn with the school shooting you mentioned. suddenly the real pain of that kind of loss became inescapable. since then there have been many gatherings of grief and support. because of your writings, I am approaching this loss with more awareness and compassion for everyone involved, not the least is the 16 year old shooter. recognition that the pain and fire he threw were a result of the community denial of mental health issues and family issues that are also likely links in a chain of pain. yesterday, at a subdued sorrowful NoKings I made it a point to stay open hold and feel my own sadness and the community sadness. as I held that openness, I realized that in doing so the alchemy of transmuting these feelings into a higher form of love was taking place.
stepping into it without shielding became the path to transmutation.
I had trouble writing anything at all about Bend Oregon….there are just no words for it. It’s just so senseless that America allows the madness of guns in society, and kids being killed at school as a result, to continue. I’m Australian, we have no guns here, so the gun culture in America has never made any sense to me. And as you say, we mourn the loss of the innocent children, and the young shooter as well, and the father who ended up having to shoot him. It’s just all so terribly sad, and since nothing is being done about it at a government level, all we can do is feel the feelings. And feel them deeply. And send our love and light to every person affected. xx
Wiz, I do find myself raging at these crimes and not understanding why the perpetrators are not being held to account. But this really helps me to see that the timeline is not mine and that I just need to feel it all without breaking. Another of your readers said “Feeling sad without being broken” and that really helped me focus on what is needed. What I needed to understand better.
I have been anxiously waiting for today, for your weekly wrap-up because this last week has been so dark and hard. Your words always resonate, always encourage, always comfort.
I’m raging too, Jay. You’re not alone. As I write each day, as the new comes in, I have to take breaks and go walk in the garden to re-center myself. It’s getting difficult to get anything done, I find myself in the garden so often hehe! The sky says accountability is coming…..but not next week, or even next month……this saga plays out over years. It’s not quick, but it happens, in time. It won’t be perfect….but it will be steps in the right direction. What matters for each of us right now is not so much that the lawless be held to account, but that we don’t become like them in an effort to deal with them. Tend our own light, that’s the motto for these days. Come join me in the garden! xx
My garden is winding down right now. We’ve already had 25° F several times. My maples are burning bright, the larch are turning to gold. I spend every moment I can outside in my gardens because soon it will be all covered with snow. ❄️ Today I’m transplanting some Michaelmas daisies into a bed I just created a couple of weeks ago, along with some yellow coneflowers.
This is where I tend my light, touching the earth, planning for spring. Because it will come.
Yes! I had to look it up but here’s what it said; ‘The word paradise originates from the ancient Persian term pairidaeza, which literally means "walled enclosure" or "walled garden.’ Although mine doesn’t have walls unless you count the forest trees that we live amongst. Walls or no, it gives me great pleasure!
Another absolutely brilliant piece of writing! There was a time not long ago when I would not have wanted to read about awful things that happened in the past. But your writing has really helped me see that shutting out unpleasant events just pushes them away but doesn't heal anything. I think I can better face them because your way of reporting is very soothing, even when you are recounting horrible facts. Also, there are so many awful things happening now that it really helps to learn why they are happening. It reminds me to breathe deeply, to center myself, to feel sad without being broken, to pray and ask for a better life for everyone who is suffering. Thank you!
It’s such a natural reflex, Karen, to want to shut out the uncomfortable things. We were all raised in a world that did that reflexively. But now we’re learning that heavy feelings are not bad - we can hold them. The sadness need not break us - such wise words. It might, in fact, be the making of us. Thank-you for sharing. xx
This is real wisdom. Sadness does not have to break us. It might be something we need to pause with, it might be heavy, it might be unpleasant, it might even crack us open, but that really just lets the light in to the dark places. The sadness can be heavy without being completely destructive - even those heavy feelings have wisdom to offer us, if we’re brave enough to sit with them. xx
My heart is heavy as I look at the world around us…all of it on fire, literally and figuratively. I look at my daughter, turning 15 next month, and fear for her future. What will there be for her and her peers as they enter the adult world over the next decade? But, paradoxically, I also hold hope. And the more I dig in to studying the microcosm of my own chart and those of the people I hold closest, the more my hope builds. I can see, incredibly clearly how the patterns in the sky have played out in my own life. Seeing those patterns, and their eerie accuracy, helps me to trust that these patterns will also hold true. Thank you for laying out the larger pattern for us Wiz. For checking the historical record and bringing the receipts. Your calm helps to anchor me in mine. The appreciation I feel can not be overstated.
I know it doesn’t look like it right now, but the children and teenagers now have come in to be the heroes of the rebuilding that starts in the 2030s and happens right until the 2050s. I think of them as the architects of the new world - we, their parents, are the ones overseeing the demolition, but they’re the builders who are going to build the new world. They came in for it, so don’t feel to hopeless about it all - their path will be different to ours, and that’s okay. They came in knowing it would be. They’re going to forge something totally different. Our task is to help them. I find it kind of exciting. xx
Thank you, dear Wizard. You excavate the past and connect it to present events with cosmic precision. It is hard to endure the barrage of daily tragedies, but your insights shine a light on the greater meaning. May humanity be willing to understand.
It is hard to endure, you’re right Julianne. I find the only way through is to try and look at the big picture - the details are devastating, and if we get lost in them, we can get bogged. Pull back, widen the perspective, try to see things from the broader place…..that’s the way to walk this road. xx
Thank you as always. Clarity is crucial to how we hold space for others and truth without hurling fire at everyone and anyone perceived to be the problem.

And isn’t the word for Paradise ancient Persian word for a walled garden ( often one of my favourite places to be ) …

“Feeling sad without being broken”
You captured my feelings perfectly. It is incredible sadness, though and my heart feels so heavy. But I am not broken. 💜

Stellar writing! Clear, comprehensive, informative, touching, thought provoking. Impressive.
Thank you for reading, Pam, and for your kind words. xx
