I’ve been being led further and further down the path of the heart in the past decade and much more deeply in the past 3 years. Finding myself moving naturally away from the fiction writing and teaching of the previous 15 years to mindfulness and meditation and coaching. Somehow knowing that I needed steadiness in my own heart and that I needed to be able to share tools for that with others.
We’re in for a rough ride for sure but I can feel that love and light are already winning despite the chaos and noise. 💙
Over the last few months of reading your resonating post I have been deconstructing the ingrained words "heartbreaking". Each time I catch myself, I acknowledge the words that no longer make sense and release those words. Thank you Wizard.
Thank you, as always. I come away feeling I have seen deeply into the events unfolding around us all. One thought: the name of the spaceship launched this week, a powerful wisdom goddess. Perhaps we are calling her name in a time that desperately needs her guidance.

They have given me confidence and reaffirmed that the studying I have been doing over the last 10 years now (OMG) with Indigenous wisdom and Values is the right path for me. It is always weird when he is gone for a while. We are all awaiting that final exhale of “it’s finally over.” We know the social media posts aren’t him, but someone has to fill the vacuum of insanity. Heavens knows the post this morning fit the bill as all of the “news”
Well written, but if all those with the means to do so stockpile all the goods they can get their hands on (and have the luxury of space to horde them in), what are the rest of us to do? I'm going to continue to keep my spirits up with sticking to what helps which sometimes comes down to really bad attempts at humour. There may be more effective steps I could take, but I'll make light (or, failing that, cringe-worthy puns) while I can. Portugal sounds lovely, hope you have space for a small vegetable garden.
"The Queen Of F'arts meets Trumpty-Dumpty at the Big Bootyful Wailing Wall for an Epic Tumble". That's the headline for the Times -- for they are a-changing. (We know the rest -- all the King's whores and all the King's yes-men cannot put Trumpty together again. May they all leave by the "You're Fired!" heX-it, with an abundance of gilded yolk on their "Kegs-Up" ruddied faces to veil their Mad-Max-Factoried masks of shameless shim-shams... To switch gears a bit, The Joker is Oscar-Wilde, while the Miller weaves his tale-between-his- Project 2025-legs. Lame puns aside, good riddance to bad rubbish, and may there be a clean sweep of the thoroughly trashed Whyte House and other highly-corrupt orifices to boot. Oops, guess I wasn't quite done!
