It’s fascinating to look at events both large-scale and personal through this lens of the Chiron transit you describe. It’s like the violent energy, loudness, and bullishness of the identity-warrior that has raged for a seeming eternity now falls flat. Like the focus just turned. Venezuela and other South American colonies were emboldened by the American Revolution of July 4. Venezuela actually picked July 5 as its independence day for that purpose.
With their Sun being only a degree or 2 of the US's, I'd be curious about what happens there. South America is rich with people, culture, and its natural resources.

…and, I will add that Canada Day is July 1. A lot of significant American countries (as landmasses) have Cancer sun signs!
