I’ve read this once now over coffee, in the quiet of the early morning, racing through the paragraphs and tumbling down into the imagery. I will return to read it again, more slowly, holding its energy close to my heart. Thank you. Your words resonate and this piece is profoundly impactful.
Thank-you Nicole. This one felt quite important as it tumbled out of me. Made me weep at the end. Couldn't see the screen while I typed. I'm glad it resonated with you. xx
Many retired investigators/police say the evidence/timeline presented doesn’t point to Lindsay. Prayers for all involved in the tragedy. Wonderful post as always Wiz 🌎🌈❤️🩹
It's natural to want to look for anything we can cling to that might mean Lindsay didn't do what she was accused of doing. It's a horrific thing that was done, and it feels easier to hold if there's a way we can think that maybe she didn't do it. But her own defense team conceded from the outset that Lindsay killed Cora, Dawson and Callan - that was never disputed by Lindsay or her lawyers. Kevin Reddington built the entire case around criminal responsibility - the question put to the jury was whether she understood the nature and wrongfulness of what she did, not whether she did it. Holding what those jurors were asked to hold - the full weight of what was done and the reason Lindsay's team offered - is what we are being asked to do now. Looking for other explanations disregards Lindsay's own defence in an effort to lessen the weight, but we would be wise to try and hold the whole of it. That's what this moment asks. xx

Thank-you Allen. It's a lot to take in, and it's worth sitting with I think. I'm glad it resonates. Thank-you for reading. xx
Wiz, this was incredible. This is one of if not the most powerful articles that you've written. Thann you.
