Today we send the light of our love to those willing to meet what they've been avoiding
To the ones who have been keeping busy to stay ahead of a feeling. Those whose interior has been patiently waiting for them to come home. We send our light to those who feel the pull downward today - into the body, into the heart, into the thing they haven't wanted to look at - and who are learning that what waits below is not the enemy. It is the truth, asking to be known.
May I descend without fear into what is mine
I let the quiet of this day take me where it wants to go.
I meet the feelings I've been outrunning.
I trust that the depth is safe if I go slowly.
I let the surface quiet so the truth can speak.
I release what I've been holding above the waterline.
I honour the underground as much as the light.
The depth is waiting
Not everything worth knowing lives on the surface.
Today the sky invites us inward.
Not to spiral, but to listen.
Let the feelings that have been queued up arrive.
Let the honest thought think itself.
What you meet below will not destroy you.
It will free you.
