To the ones who woke up with a little more fire than yesterday, whose hands are itching to begin again. To those who've moved through the dissolving and now feel something new asking for shape. To anyone who dared to rest in the deep water and is ready, gently, to climb back into the world - we send our light. Today the spark returns. Pick it up carefully. It's been waiting for you.
May the spark be honoured
I welcome the return of my own fire without flinching from it.
I let the new idea come without rushing to perfect it.
I trust the timing of my own beginnings.
I speak the small honest word that opens the door.
I let hope have a body again.
I begin where I am.
Pick up the thread
After the dissolving, the thread reappears.
Small at first, but unmistakable.
You'll feel it in the body before you can name it.
A desire to make, to say, to start.
Don't dismiss it because it's quiet.
Don't wait for certainty.
Take one honest step in the direction the spark is pointing.
This isn't the leap.
This is the lighting of the wick.
The leap comes later.
Today, just pick up the thread.
Today, the fire returns to the body
