Thank you for telling the truth. Many of us have lived in this shadow as the feared or despised "other." These truths have been drowned out for so long because they are painful to admit, thought many live them and it is part of their family / personal history. I wish this country can own up to these skeletons haunting this closet, and it's hard to have faith this can be done.
