Thanks again for making clear the rocky journey but the infusion of hope within that. In the UK on the 27th, the Greens won a seat in Manchester with policies of equality and inclusion over a right wing divisive and billionaire funded party (Reform). The new MP is a female plumber who adopts greyhounds. The party is headed by a gay Jew. They are firmly anti-genocide and anti-big tech infiltration with a focus on community and fairness and the environment (we have a major river pollution issue in the UK with water companies still making massive profits, and they want to nationalise water and the rai). All of these things show there is light breaking through, it is really happening step by small step.

I so badly wanted to weave this in to the wrap up this week but every time I inserted it, it felt tacked on! Yes, this was remarkable. I have been looking at Nigel Farage’s chart for a while now, and how it interacted with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction - not at all surprised by that electoral outcome, and there will be more like it! Bring it on!

Wow, that's interesting I really look forward to seeing your take on his chart......haha and yes I really hope more election outcomes like this 🤞🤞🤞

It shows the journey back to the heart exactly as you are talking about

Great piece, as always, Wiz.

So from a practical standpoint, we’re not super old but about to retire, we get how privileged we are that the AI layoffs will (mostly) not hurt us- so, what can we do to at least take care of our basic needs over the next few years, and minimize our terror? Move to an isolated place and grow food, and pray neither of us gets sick?

The best guidance I can offer for the coming years is this word - community. That’s how we all get through. Find your people and hold on to them. Plant a vege patch. Share with friends. Check in on one another. Pool resources. Withdraw from whatever feels “old world” wherever you can. Ground in that which is heart-felt, truthful, honorable, loving and welcome the new world in one moment at a time. This is not about trying to outrun the collapse - we have to move through it. We can’t go into our bunker and hope to come out in a decade and the new world is magically waiting for us. We have to build it through this collapse, brick by brick, heart by heart. Community is the key. Find your people - even if it’s just you and one friend, you and a sibling, any act of community helps. And in time, it grows.

I so appreciate this response, Wiz! I am finding myself saying "ok! Let's get started!" But then I look up and go," um... how exactly?"This is a beautiful response for a beautiful start!

New subscriber here. I love your work, combing detailed happenings inventory with Astro-analysis, and a mostly udgement-free assessment of people involved. Iv e always felt everyone has a place in fulfilling overarching programs. Look at the events, not the solitary people upon which to lay blame. It all rings true and I’m going to forward your page to friends of like mind. Question: are you using a sidereal astrology or tropical? How would these two differ in your analysis?

Wizard Withwords's avatar

Welcome Glen! Glad this framing lands for you. I try to look at the events, not just the people, with as little judgement as possible (though occasional sass emerges hehe) Individuals are expressions of larger patterns and blame is too small a container for what is being tracked here - everyone is playing their part in the symphony of life.

To your question: I work within the tropical zodiac - the Western astrological tradition that anchors the signs to the seasons rather than to the fixed stars. It's a system oriented around the Earth's relationship to the Sun - cyclical, seasonal, deeply tied to lived human time.

Sidereal astrology anchors the signs to the actual star constellations. Due to the slow wobble in Earth's axis, the two systems have drifted apart by roughly 23–24 degrees over the millennia. That means most people's sidereal Sun sign is one sign earlier than their tropical one.

In practical terms, the two systems ask slightly different questions and evolved through different cultural streams. Vedic astrology is extraordinarily sophisticated particularly for timing and karmic patterns, but it's a different language and not one I speak. Tropical is the language I’m more fluent in. Neither is "more correct." They're just different maps of the same territory.

So glad you're here - you and your friends are very welcome.

I am in the US where we are feeling all of this so acutely...where knowing exactly how best to proceed is hampered by the worst of unsavory human systems( human and institutional). I find myself asking "where best to join others to build" and looking at things that might help to work on...villaging concepts or working toward the well being economy, and feeling excited albeit not at all clear on how to proceed. And twenty years? I'll be an oldster by then, LOL! Sending you great love, my brother! ❤️💙💜♥️💛

My partner said the same as you - twenty years!! But honestly, for some of us, we are living in the new world already. Some of us have managed to step out of the system, and carve out a life for ourselves already that is energetically aligned with the new world, even though it’s only just sprouting. Every time we make choices from the heart instead of the head - that’s the new world right there. We don’t have to wait 20 years (and in truth, the full completion of the new world we really won’t see for another 50 years - lets hope they find ways for us all to live longer so we can see it!). We can already see the new world emerging now - and I believe by the 2030s more and more will become evident. It’s going to take a while before we see it on the news, or in the White House, because both those things are old world structures. We have to stop looking for the new world where we found the old world - the centre of energy has changed. xx
