Today we send the light of our love to those who spoke and found the wound was listening

To those who gathered the courage to say the true thing - or tried to - and discovered the wound was closer to the surface than they'd expected. Not deeper than feared. Just closer. The voice, when it finally steps out of the interior and into the light, doesn't always find a clear path. Sometimes it finds the very thing it has been quietly carrying all along. Those who are discovering today that speaking and healing are not the same thing, that the voice and the wound are in fact old companions, long-accustomed to travelling together - we send them our light. This is not a setback. It is what the next layer looks like.

May the voice and the wound find each other with some grace

I allow what I say to carry what I feel, even when that feeling is still tender.
I do not turn away from what surfaces when I try to speak honestly.
I trust that the wound appearing close to the surface is not a failure of the work.
I allow the real version of what I long for to sit beside the one I have been dreaming.
I bring patience to the distance between who I am and what I imagined I'd be by now.
The voice and the wound can learn, over time, to travel together.
Today that learning begins.

The voice and the wound travel together

We imagine that once the inner work is done
the expression will flow cleanly,
without the old complications.
Sometimes it does.
And sometimes the voice steps out and finds the wound right there beside it,
asking to be carried into the light too.
This is not a failure of the work already done.
It is what the next layer of that work looks like.

Today, the light finds its own shadow

Mercury, having stepped into Leo yesterday with a warming confidence and the sense of something newly expressible, makes its very first aspect in that sign a square to Chiron in Taurus - the wounded place in the body, in the bones, in the felt sense of whether we are worth what we’re reaching for. The voice steps into the light and finds the wound is still close. Not blocking the path - present in it. This is what honest expression sometimes costs: not its absence, but its company. The wound doesn’t dissolve the moment we begin to speak; sometimes the voice and the wound must learn to move together, and that learning has texture and friction that no amount of preparation entirely removes.

Meanwhile Venus, settling into her home sign of Libra, moves through two significant aspects today. A trine to Pluto in Aquarius in the early evening transforms something quietly profound in how we understand what we truly want from connection - what it means to be met, to matter, to be genuinely valued. Then late in the night, an opposition to Neptune in Aries: the dreamed version of what we deserve and the real version are held in uncomfortable proximity, and what we’ve been romanticising around love and worth is asked, gently and firmly, to meet what is actually here.

This is a day for letting the wound travel with the voice, rather than sending it back inside.
