Today we send the light of our love to those standing in the sudden clarity after the strike
To the ones for whom something shifted this morning without permission - an idea that arrived fully formed, a knowing that couldn't be unfelt, a door that opened and will not close. To those for whom the electricity wasn't metaphorical. We send our light to all living in the sharp, altered air of a before-and-after moment. The lightning changed the sky - and the sky is still yours.
May the lightning leave more light than ash
I let the charge move through me without letting it consume me.
I receive the clarity this moment has brought, even where it unsettles.
I honour what just broke open - it made space for something that needed to arrive.
I trust that what was displaced was ready to go.
I move into this new terrain with my feet on the ground and my heart still open.
I was built for sudden change.
I am still here.
Lightning is a form of light
Something has broken open.
Maybe quietly, maybe not.
But the air is different now than it was yesterday.
What the lightning reveals is true, even when the timing feels wrong.
Let the shock move through. Let the body settle.
The clarity that arrives in a bolt is still clarity.
You are still here.
That is the beginning of everything.
Today, the lightning strikes
Mars and Uranus collide in Gemini this morning, and in their meeting the collective nervous system receives a jolt - sudden movement, a crack of electricity through the realm of ideas, communication, and forward motion. Mars-Uranus conjunctions don’t ask permission; they arrive sudden and irreversible, cracking open what was held closed and accelerating what was already ready. As the day unfolds, the Moon moves from Aquarius into Pisces, softening the field from electric to oceanic - the charge gives way to a flood of feeling. Mercury remains retrograde in Cancer, asking the heart to take its time processing what the mind has just received.
This is a day for receiving the strike as a gift - for trusting that the thing that just changed needed to change, and that what was broken open was always a door.
