Today we send the light of our love to those keeping still on steady ground
To the ones moving through the low-lit, in-between days with their feet planted firmly on the earth - a cycle nearly closed, the next not yet begun. To those learning that this quiet is not emptiness but preparation, and that the steadiest thing they can do is simply stay grounded while something gathers out of sight. We send our light to those willing to rest in the dark of the moon, held by solid ground.
May the steady ground beneath me hold me through the waiting
I let myself be still without calling stillness idleness.
I stay grounded while the cycle quietly turns.
I trust that low light is not absence - only the turning point.
I do not force a beginning that has not yet arrived.
I let something gather in me, even before I can name it.
I trust that what is coming is already on its way.
Stillness on solid ground
This is one of the quiet days.
The cycle nearly spent, the new one not yet here.
Stay grounded.
The steadiest thing you can do today is simply be where you are.
Do not mistake the low light for emptiness.
The dark of the moon is preparation, not lack.
There is nothing to push, and pushing would only tire you.
Notice the faint sense of something gathering.
A beginning is readying itself just out of sight.
Let the earth hold you through the waiting.
What comes next does not need forcing.
Today, the sky rests on steady earth
The Moon spends a second full day in grounded, sensory Taurus, keeping the collective mood calm, slow, and rooted. With the New Moon approaching in a few days, this is the dark of the moon - the lowest, quietest light of the cycle, an inward and almost dreaming stretch. No major aspects perfect; nothing is being demanded. Taurus asks only that we stay grounded and let the body rest while the cycle quietly turns toward its restart.

Moot point, but there's a small typo: "earning" instead of " learning" in the title. Kinda works. We all learn and earn wisdom. I had a very restless night after two nights of really good sleep leading up to the second cataract surgery which went off without a hitch yesterday. The surgeon is so chill he mentioned while finishing up that I have very unusual irises: gold, green and brown in what he described as a "sunflower" effect. (I think more starbursts, but won't quibble-- nobody has gazed deeper into my eyes! I think everybody in the OR had a look.) Heading off shortly for my first of two follow-up appointments. Can't help think about the timing of (re-)gaining so much clarity. Miraculous technology, and I've had more miracles than the average person, some having less to do with technology than others. Ready for whatever lands next. Wishing you *all* love and light today and everyday! There's a reason we are here together.
