Today we send the light of our love to those who are finally in motion
To the ones who have been gathering, preparing, feeling, understanding - who have done the slow deep work of the interior season and are now, today, feeling something release into actual movement. Those for whom the starting gun has finally fired after weeks of loading. Those discovering that readiness does not feel the way they expected - not triumphant or certain, but simply present and moving, one foot in front of the other, the accumulated preparation now expressed as action rather than potential. We send our love to those who are in motion today - not despite the uncertainty, not because the fog has lifted, but because the bow was fully drawn and the time has come and the arrow is already in the air.
May the release be as true as the gathering was patient
I release what has been accumulated into genuine motion.
I carry the confidence of what has been prepared into what is not yet known.
I let the outer world accelerate without abandoning the inner review.
I move quickly where movement is called for and go deep where depth is required.
I trust that the arrow is headed true, even though I cannot see the target yet.
I honour the departure and what it took to be ready for it.
The Arrow in Flight
After the bow straightens.
After the arrow leaves the hand.
There’s a moment when you cannot do anything more.
The preparation is complete.
The aim has been made.
The release has happened.
Now the arrow is simply in the air, doing what arrows do when they are true.
This is not the moment for second-guessing.
This is the moment for presence.
For watching the trajectory with clear eyes.
For trusting the hands that drew the bow.
For letting the motion be what it is.
You prepared for this.
You drew it fully.
Now let it fly.
Today, the bow straightens and the arrow flies
Mars reaches its exact sextile to Jupiter at the final degree of Taurus - the great send-off, the warm blessing of everything accumulated over six weeks of slow deliberate building. Jupiter in Cancer says “it is enough, it is good, go” - and Mars goes. By evening Mars crosses into Gemini, and the pace of everything quickens: the energy that was singular and embodied becomes multiple and verbal and quick.
Almost simultaneously Mercury reaches its retrograde station in Cancer - the messenger god stopping, turning, beginning the inward review of everything felt and understood since the beginning of June. The outer world accelerates. The inner world turns back in. Both are exactly right. Today is the hinge - the day the arrow leaves the hand.
This is a day for releasing what has been prepared and trusting it to fly true.
