To the ones who didn't expect to feel this - a loosening, a lightness, a small unexpected joy arriving the morning after the reckoning. Those who woke up thinking the weight would still be there and found it somehow shifted. Those who are learning that tenderness and surprise can coexist, that life doesn't always ask for suffering before it offers something lovely. We send our light to those willing to receive the good thing, even when they haven't finished processing the difficult one.
May the unexpected beautiful thing be allowed in
I do not have to earn delight, I only have to let it land.
I remain open to being surprised by what this day offers me.
I release the belief that good things require prior suffering to be deserved.
I let myself be moved by something small and true today.
I balance what I feel with what is fair, to myself and to others.
I am allowed to feel light even before everything is resolved.
Let the surprise be welcome
After the intensity of what this week has asked, today offers something different.
A crack in the clouds.
An unexpected conversation.
A moment of genuine connection.
Don't be so braced for difficulty that you miss it.
Delight is not naive today - it is available, and it is real.
The beauty arriving now is not a distraction from the truth.
It is part of it.
Receive it.
You are not betraying your depth by feeling good.
