Today we send the light of our love to those taking the first small step of something new
To the ones who planted something yesterday and woke up wondering whether they meant it. To those whose fresh start still has last night’s argument in the room with it, the old heat and the new hope sitting side by side. We send our light to everyone taking the first small step today, the one nobody sees, and to those who can feel the ground turning from open and even to something deeper and more private as the day goes on. The seed only asks one thing of you today, and that’s to keep walking.
May the first step be small and true
I begin quietly, before I’m sure.
I let the new thing be new, and I don’t measure it against the old.
I carry the hope and the friction together, because both are honest.
I go deeper as the day goes on, and I trust what I find there.
I keep walking.
Small steps hold
Something began yesterday, and today it needs feet.
Nothing grand.
One honest thing done in the direction of what you planted.
By afternoon the mood turns inward.
What you started will ask how you really feel about it.
Answer truthfully.
Small steps are the only kind a seed can take.
Today, the sky takes its first step into the deep
Yesterday’s New Moon in Libra is a day old, and the Moon spends the first part of the day still in Libra, gathering itself, then crosses into Scorpio, where the mood turns from even-handed to intense. Yesterday’s Venus-Mars square is still in the air, so the friction between wanting closeness and wanting our own way hasn’t cleared - it just goes quieter, and deeper. Venus is sitting retrograde in Scorpio, and the Moon reaches her overnight, so old feelings begin to stir.
This is a day for taking the first small step, and letting the feeling deepen without rushing it.
