Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.
Today we send the light of our love to those whose old feelings have come up for air
To the ones who thought a feeling was finished and found it this morning, sitting at the kitchen table, waiting. To those who can feel an old name in the mouth, an old ache in the chest, and a sharp word ready to cover for both. We send our light to everyone whose past has come up for air today, and to those who’ll be tempted to push it back under. It came up because it has something to say. Let it breathe.
May the old feeling be allowed to speak
I let what’s risen stay at the surface long enough to be heard.
I meet the old ache with a kinder face than I gave it last time.
I hold my tongue when the sharpness comes, and I hold the feeling instead.
I ask what this is still protecting.
I let the past speak without letting it decide.
Let the past breathe
An old feeling is back today, and it’s brought its whole story with it.
Don’t argue with it, and don’t drown it either.
Sit beside it and let it tell you what it never got to say.
Some of what it says will sting, and some of it will set you free.
Feel rather than flee.
Then let it move through.
Today, the sky brings the past to the surface
The Moon in Scorpio meets Venus, who’s retrograde there, and then Mercury, so old feelings and old conversations surface together - the ex, the unpaid debt, the thing we said years ago and never took back. It’s intense, and it can be tender, because Venus retrograde is the heart looking back to understand itself. The Moon also squares Mars in Leo, so the sharp word is close to hand and pride flares easily. Mercury’s slowing down in Scorpio ahead of its own retrograde later this month, which means whatever surfaces now will come round again.
This is a day for letting the past have its say, and answering it with more heart than it got the first time.
