Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.
Today we send the light of our love to those giving more than was asked of them
To the ones who feel unusually generous today, and are a little surprised by it. To those who’ve been keeping careful score in a relationship and can feel the ledger going soft in their hands. We send our light to everyone giving more than was asked of them today: the extra hour, the benefit of the doubt, the forgiveness nobody demanded. And to those on the receiving end, unsure what they did to deserve it. Nothing. That’s the point. Take it with both hands.
May the giving come easily
I give without counting.
I let good fortune find me, and I don’t argue with it.
I meet the person in front of me with warmth before judgement.
I let my heart be seen in what I offer.
I receive as gracefully as I give.
The open hand
There’s grace in the air today.
The kind that makes the small things easy.
Use it.
Give the extra.
Say the kind thing.
Let the old score go.
Generosity is its own reward, so stop waiting to be paid back.
The warmth you put out comes back through a door you weren’t watching.
Open the hand, and keep it open.
Today, the sky is generous
The Sun in Libra, the sign of the other person, links up sweetly with Jupiter in Leo, the sign of the heart, so warmth flows easily between people today - kindness, luck, good company, the sense that there’s plenty to go round. Jupiter’s been drawing us out of the small room of the mind and into the heart since June, and today the Sun helps it along by turning that expansion toward whoever’s across from us. The Sagittarius Moon reaches Jupiter too, so the feeling gets bigger as the day goes on. The only caution is overdoing it: promising too much, spending too much, saying yes to everything.
This is a day for giving freely, and receiving with the same open hand.
