Today we send the light of our love to those whose love has found the old wound
To the ones who’ve been retracing their steps in love and have arrived at the sore place, the one that says: maybe I was never really wanted here. To those who’ll hear an unexpected piece of news today, or say something out loud that’s been kept behind their teeth for years. We send our light to everyone whose love has found the old wound, and to those learning that this is what love does when it’s real: it goes to the tender place, sits down, and stays. The wound is where the love was needed most, all along.
May the love reach the place that hurts
I let love go to the sore place, and I let it stay there.
I say the true thing that’s been kept behind my teeth.
I welcome the news I didn’t expect, because it’s telling me something.
I speak for the ones who were left out, myself included.
I let the old wound be loved, out in the open.
Love at the sore place
Love’s arrived at the tender spot today.
The place you’d rather it didn’t go.
Let it in anyway.
Something unexpected will move things.
A message.
A truth spoken suddenly.
A door that opens on its own.
Say what you’ve been holding back, and say it with care.
The part of you that was never invited is being asked to speak.
Let it speak, and let love hear it.
Today, love meets the wound
Venus, retrograde in Libra, stands directly opposite Chiron in Aries, so the review of our relationships arrives at the deepest hurt: the fear of not being wanted, of not being allowed to take up room in another person’s life. It’s a tender day, and a healing one, because what love revisits it can finally hold. The Sun in Scorpio also reaches out to Lilith in Capricorn, so the silenced voice and the one who kept copies get the light’s backing, and something long suppressed gets said. The Moon moves into Gemini and passes Uranus, so expect news, surprises and sudden clarity.
This is a day for letting love reach the old wound, and speaking what was kept behind the teeth.
