Dear friends,
Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.
Today we send the light of our love to those caught between forcing it and letting it go
To the ones gripping hard today, who can feel something slipping and want to force it back into place. To those up against a will stronger than their own, or discovering that the strongest will in the room is theirs, and it frightens them. We send our light to everyone standing where power meets surrender, where the old way of holding on is failing and the hand hasn’t yet learned how to open. And to those whose heart has quietly turned to look back at someone, or something, they thought they’d finished loving.
May the hand that grips learn how to open
I let go of what was never mine to control.
I meet the force in front of me with my feet on the ground.
I don’t push back just to prove I can.
I release what’s finished, and I let it teach me.
I let my heart look back without dragging me back with it.
I trust that what’s truly mine will stay when I stop gripping.
The strength is in the release
There’s a struggle in the air today, and it’s an old one.
Something wants to dominate, and something wants to be free of it.
You’ll be tempted to win, so try loosening your grip instead.
What was built to last will stand without you clutching at it.
What’s falling away was already on its way out.
The strength you’re looking for is in the letting go.
Today, the sky turns the heart back and tests the will
Three big movements land within hours of each other. Venus stops in her tracks in Scorpio and turns retrograde, opening six weeks of looking back at what we love, what we value and what we think we’re worth - old flames and old feelings start walking back through the door. Mars in Leo stands directly opposite Pluto, a face-off between the will and the deep, so power struggles peak and the urge to control (or the fear of being controlled) runs hot. And a Last Quarter Moon in Cancer asks us to release what last week’s Full Moon lit up, especially anything we’ve been clinging to for the sake of feeling safe.
This is a day for loosening your grip on what you can’t control, and letting the heart look back with honesty.
