Dear friends,
Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.

Today we send the light of our love to those having the hard conversation a second time
To the ones who thought that argument was finished at the start of the month, and found it waiting at the kitchen table again this morning. To those who can feel the same sharp words rising, and who know, this time, exactly where they lead. We send our light to everyone having the hard conversation a second time, and to those brave enough to have it differently: slower, closer to home, with the fear spoken plainly and the fire kept in the hearth. The second time is the one that counts.
May the second time be kinder than the first
I recognise the old argument, and I choose a new way through it.
I say what I’m afraid of before I say what I’m angry about.
I keep my words close to home and my fire in the hearth.
I let the other person be frightened too.
I finish what we started, gently.
Second chances at the truth
The old fight’s back, and so is the chance to do it right.
Take the chance.
Notice the heat rising.
Find where it lives in your body before it reaches your mouth.
Say the frightened thing.
Hear theirs.
The truth said twice, the second time with love, is how a wound closes.
Today, the words come back around
Mercury, retrograde in Scorpio, squares Mars in Leo for the second time this month - the same sharp-tongued aspect we had on the 2nd, now revisited - so the argument we thought we’d finished comes round again, and the temptation to win it is just as strong. The difference is the Moon, which moves into Cancer, the sign of home, family and feeling, so the words land closer to the heart and the stakes feel personal. It’s a day for the true thing said gently, with the sharp thing left unsaid. Mercury’s retrograde is the sky’s second chance.
This is a day for having the hard conversation again, and having it with more heart than the first time.
