Dear friends,
Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.
Today we send the light of our love to those finding the heart was always big enough
To the ones who thought they’d reached the edge of what they could feel for another person, and found this morning that the edge had moved. To those being asked to make room for one more: a child, a stranger, a second chance, a grief sitting alongside a joy. We send our light to everyone widening today, and to those learning that the heart was never the small thing they were told to keep it. It was always big enough. We’re only just beginning to live in all of it.
May the heart show me how much room it has
I expand into what I already am.
I give generously, and I let it be received.
I hold two true things at once without dropping either.
I let my joy be big and my grief be big, and I find they fit.
I say yes to more life.
Room for all of it
Today the heart feels wide, so don’t second-guess it.
There’s more space in there than you’ve been using.
Let someone in.
Let something old and something new sit side by side by the fire.
Generosity comes easily on a day like this.
Just make sure the promises you make are ones you can keep.
Then give freely.
Today, the sky opens the doors of the heart
The Moon in Leo meets Jupiter, the planet of expansion, in the sign of the heart, and everything feels bigger, warmer and more generous - our feelings, our appetites, our sense of what’s possible. Jupiter’s been in Leo since the end of June, slowly drawing us out of the small room of the mind and further into the heart, and today the Moon turns the lights on in there. The shadow side is overdoing it: too much, too grand, too many promises. There’s nothing sharp in the sky today, so the day flows if we let it.
This is a day for expanding into the heart, and finding there was always room for all of it.
