Dear friends,
Each day, we gather here - hearts from every corner of the globe - to share a breath, a quiet pause, and send the light of our love into a dark world.
Today we send the light of our love to those hungry for a bigger life than the one they’ve been living
To the ones feeling the walls of routine grow snug - restless for new roads, new ideas, a truth that stretches them. Those who can’t quite name what they’re seeking, only that it’s farther out than here. The hunger for more meaning is holy. We send our light to everyone letting their restlessness point the way today, and trusting where it aims.
May my restlessness be a compass, never a complaint
I follow the pull toward the unfamiliar.
I trade a comfortable rut for an honest road.
I ask questions large enough to change me.
I let laughter widen what worry has narrowed.
I make room in my life for the size of my soul.
Widen the frame
The restlessness you feel today is information.
Somewhere, life has grown a size too small.
You don’t need to burn anything down - just widen the frame.
Read the thing that stretches you.
Take the different route home.
Talk to someone whose world differs from yours.
Adventure begins as a direction of attention.
Aim yours somewhere new.
Today, the sky keeps the campfire burning
The Moon travels on through Sagittarius, the sign of the seeker, in a largely quiet sky - the second day of open road after the deep waters earlier this week. With the Sun still refining away in Virgo, the day pairs big-picture hunger with practical means: the vision AND the next small step toward it.
This is a day for feeding your sense of adventure, in whatever size fits inside a Thursday.
If you would like to listen to this Daily Lighthouse as an audio meditation, you can head over to Hudson’s Resonance Room where he set these words to music in a powerful sonic activation.
See you tomorrow morning!

If you’re interested in exploring your own natal chart, I was part of the team that built Ask Arion - an app that helps you read what the sky has to say for you personally. It’s free to sign up, and a great way to start your journey with the stars.
I’m thinking of relocating up north ..
I've already set my compass. Started this week with a Zoom class with Michael Erlewine on Sunday afternoon, followed up on Monday with the first of nine in-person classes studying the Sadhana of Mahamudra I received the Abhisheka for on August 1st. By the end of the day I had decided to renew my Bodhisattva Vow in a few weeks' time. [My archetype under Michael's StarType system, based on the heliocentric chart, is The Vision Quest. Any surprises there?] The universe has been dropping these gems into my life for awhile now. You, Hudson, and Ask Arion continue to contribute greatly to this unfolding. Thanks, Wiz kid! P.S. - Hope your birthday was stellar!
