Today we send the light of our love to those carrying an unlit fire
To those who’ve kept their light dim to keep the peace. The ones who deflect the compliment, shrink the win, save their song for the shower. Somewhere in you is a warmth that wants witnesses. Letting it show serves more than your own heart - it gives everyone near you permission. We send our light to everyone practising the brave, generous act of being seen.
May my light stop apologising for itself
I let my warmth reach the room.
I receive attention without deflecting it.
I share what I’ve made, even half-finished.
I play, because joy is its own justification.
I shine as an offering, never as a demand.
Be seen anyway
The heart wants an audience today, and that’s healthy.
Notice the reflex that dims you.
The joke, or maybe the shrug, or the small retreat.
Try, once, letting the moment land instead.
Expression is how the inner life gets its blood moving.
Sing badly.
Show the drawing.
Say the loving thing out loud.
Radiance is generosity wearing its own face.
Today, the sky opens the curtains on the heart
The Moon steps from tender Cancer into radiant Leo - the sign of the heart, of creative fire, of the self that wants to be witnessed - where Jupiter is also spending the year, amplifying everything it touches. After days of inward tide, the sky turns expressive: warmth rises, play returns, courage comes easier.
This is a day for letting your light out of holding, and cheering loudly for someone else’s.
